Time has come to break the unending cycle of pilot studies in Telemedicine and show the impact of scaled-up Telemedicine programs. Tech4Life Enterprises is proud to be part of the successful deployment of Telemedicine program in 10 districts of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) in June 2022, along with other partners, such as Information Technology Board of the government of AJK and Sehat Kahani. The project has established 13 remote Telehealth Units, established three resource centres at CMH Hospital in AJ&K, alongside a third-party resource centre with dedicated pool of doctors at consultant’s site. The three resource centers include: Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot and Mirpur were selected as a hub for telehealth services, while health centers in 10 districts were selected as spokes. These districts include Neelum, Jhelum Valley, Haveli, Rawalakot, Sudhnoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Mirpur.

Telemedicine services are being offered in the field of General medicine, Gynecology, Dermatalogy, ENT, Trauma (First Aid), and General Surgery. The program uses state of the art Telemedicine devices provided by Tech4Life Enterprises, such as eSteth Digital Stethoscope, Digital ENT and dermatology cameras, Vital Signs monitors with complete ECG, and Digital Ultrasound probes. The Telemedicine program is successfully providing consultations to the rural population of AJK, with over twelve thousand consultations conducted in the last ten months.
