Stroke Prevention Glove
is being developed in partnership with the Aga Khan University (AKU) to empower people to check their blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol without the need for blood tests. Currently, the detection of stroke risk requires repeated visits to health providers and frequent clinical tests. This can be quite costly and tiresome, especially for those in remote area and the elderly. The aim of the stroke prevention glove is to have a simple, non-invasive, yet affordable method of detection that is accessible to people to perform on their own at home.
