Telemedicine is growing as the mainstream mechanism for providing healthcare in many parts of the world. Tech4Life Enterprises has been the leading innovator of Telemedicine solutions around the world. Tech4Life’s team of scientists from Pakistan and Canada have designed several groundbreaking solutions in the past, like Telemedicine software, Digital Stethoscopes, Digital Dermatology and ENT cameras, Sojro Telemedicine kits, and Evaluation tools for Telemedicine programs. The team has launched World’s First specialized Telemedicine drones at a Seminar on ‘Telemedicine for Enhancing Flood Response’ at Marriott Hotel, Karachi Pakistan.

Telemedicine Drones have been designed to reach long distances which cannot be accessed by health providers using other means of transport. The drones are equipped with high resolution cameras and network capacity for Telemedicine consultations, along with the devices to examine the patients in far-flung areas. Drones can travel long distances and reach specific locations using GPS technology. The drones are branded as ‘Sojro’, which means ‘Light’ in Sindhi language.

Sojro Telemedicine Drones launched at the Seminar in Karachi, Pakistan were the first of their kind. Many different models of Telemedicine drones will be launched in near future for different niche markets. These drones will be used by health and humanitarian organizations all over the world, including Disaster and Military organizations, Emergency care organizations and Ambulances, Hospitals, and Primary healthcare setups in far reaching areas. According to Dr. Shariq Khoja, CEO of Tech4Life Enterprises, these devices have been designed as highly innovative, yet affordable and scalable solutions to transform healthcare in difficult areas.
