GENERAL PURPOSE:

Tech4Life Enterprises is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to oversee all financial operations of the organization. The role involves managing budgets, preparing financial reports, monitoring expenditures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and solid leadership skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping, reporting, and analysis. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Canadian team to coordinate financial activities, resolve discrepancies, and support cross-border financial operations.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Manage tax filings, audits, and coordination with external auditors.
Support senior management in financial planning and strategy formulation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role with a strong background in QuickBooks.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
